The bust of Georges Maxime Delahet
a bronze by Bruce Krebs.

Captain, Georges Maxime Delahet, after a brilliant career in the navy,
was also Mayor of the city of Montaigu (department of Vendée) from 1935 to 1941.

The city launched a contest, my proposal was accepted.
The bust is now anchored in the Val d'Asson de Montaigu park.

I made a short film of 1 minute of the inauguration of the bust.

Here is my first proposal:

And here are my first scissors, after carefully measuring the only five photographs that were collected.

To represent the last ship that Captain Delahet commanded,
we delved into the archives of the navy
and we found the longitudinal plane of the "Sabre" I was looking for.

Here is the plate of the "Sabre" "foundry crude" with its inscriptions,
photographed in the workshop, just before the patina treatment.
The plan is reproduced in its main lines in bas-relief.
