It is not a symmetrical picture. we can't turn over the image and see the same thing. I am explained: the reflection is the image of the woman, but seen lower part... (a little as if the draughtsman were under water) To carry out this sketch, it was thus necessary to imagine all the possible shifts, The higher leg, the face more face, etc... It was very amusing to draw. I was inspired for the starting position by the girl by the one by my sculptures entitled "Young girl coming out of the frame "
