| Editing: The camera is vis-a-vis a wall of prison. It approaches a window. At the interior, a man waits. |

In the corridors, all white, the guards wait too. in the first part, the black images of the cells are alternate with the white images of the guards in Chinese shades. |

| One hears outside a sad air of barrel organ. |
|
| In the street the barrel organ merges with the noise of the cars. Gradually another instrument, a saxophone is heard. |
|
| A prisoner, plays the sad air which one hears outside. |
|
| During this time, the camera moves away towards the infirmary. Men are lying, certain suffer. |
|
| A man, into the shade, is introduced into pharmacy. He moves towards the cupboard where the drugs are arranged. He seizes one of them, and injects it. |
|
| Its pain, gradually is transformed into laughing fatty. |
|
| All the prisoners (or perhaps this is its is delirious), start from an enormous insane laughter. The bars start to dance, the keys escape, the doors open… |

| But in the last analysis any cost in the order, sadly in the order. Of the man extended in pharmacy, it does not remain soon any more on the ground but its silhouette drawn with chalk… |
