The « little readers of Montaigu » were much appreciated by the visitors. Especially the little boy and his cat.

Also, I agreed to reproduce, in smaller, the boy who reads to his cat.

But how do we refocus on the boy ? In the great sculpture, the one in Montaigu, the boy read “Le chat botté”. On the pages of his book were engraved two drawings and an extract of the text. But here, in this small format, it was no longer possible.

Also, I added a small pair of boots on the side. The kicked cat is no longer that of the book but that nestled in the arms of the boy...

And I kept the pile of books...
