Of course, my image and that of Gustave Dore, are not exactly the same ones. These is their differences that the visitors seem to appreciate. The gesture of the man with knees is theatrical certainly. I did not want to add some. What can allow a painting is not obligatorily transposable in volume. In the painting of Gilded Gustave, the muscles are very projecting. In three dimensions, they could become grotesque...
