From July 4th, 2005, to may 31th, 2006, Bruce Krebs, sculptor and multimediaster, has created a series of art works starting from the inheritance of the Fine arts Museum of La Rochelle, in France...

"The window of the painter"
(page 3)

How to find the window from which Albert Marquet composed his table in 1920 and how to make a photograph in 2005 by taking account of the same lighting and the same height of tide?
Here is thus the photography which I carried out.
To discover my step, start with the page 2.

(below, you will discover also the painting of Albert Marquet.)

In connection with reflection of the turns in water:

Alas, my photography does not comprise any! To obtain a reflection like that painted by Albert Marquet, it is necessary calms flat most perfect, not the least air blast.. Better still, it would be necessary that the wind has fallen for several days ago.

I thus regret this that it seems difficult to to me to fill. What painting allows, photography does not obtain it obligatorily. Note the importance of the reflection nearest to the quay. It is impossible in reality, because the volume of this wave elle object calms flat reflection of the towers... However we don't imagine only one moment that Marquet could have disavowed this feature of splendid color!..
